| 1. |
Be ready - always keep Gratitude Cards handy.
Ideal places to keep them are in your wallet, your purse, the sun visor or glove box of your car, in your desk, out in the open where people can see them and ask questions, etc. |
| |
|
| 2. |
Be on the lookout - actively notice the good in people; where people have made an extra effort to be kind, helpful, understanding or supportive, either to you or someone else. |
| |
|
| |
These people are everywhere – the more you pay attention the more you will notice: |
| |
the teacher who is helping to educate your child the nurse who cares
| ▪ |
the person who holds the elevator door open |
| ▪ |
the bank teller who smiles |
| ▪ |
the waiter who has made an extra effort |
| ▪ |
the bus driver who stopped |
| ▪ |
the receptionist who was patient as you rescheduled your appointment for the third time |
| ▪ |
the person who acknowledges you or your efforts |
| ▪ |
the person who supports you emotionally or cares for you physically |
| ▪ |
the person who goes the extra mile for you |
|
| |
|
| 3. |
Once you have spotted that special someone, gift them a Gratitude Card. |
| |
|
| 4. |
Know that the second that Gratitude Card changes hands you: |
| |
| ▪ |
start an exponential global healing ripple
|
| ▪ |
change the other person’s day, as well as the lives of those that that person will encounter later
|
| ▪ |
open yourself to receive gratitude and all the abundance the Universe has to offer (by giving we open ourselves to receive)
|
| ▪ |
attract positive things into your life because you have noticed the positive (law of attraction)
|
| ▪ |
help heal the planet and facilitate world peace through your purchase of the cards
|
|
| |
|
| 5. |
Take a moment to reflect on your giving experience and feel good about yourself for having started a ripple |
| |
|
| 6. |
Give at least 1 a day – it may be hard at first – go out and seek the good. You will find it. Once you get started it becomes much easier and fills your heart with joy. (It’s like exercising your gratitude muscle).
One woman told us she thought she couldn’t give out more than 1 a week much less one a day - Now she’s clamoring to get more.
|
| |
|
| 7. |
Try giving 2 each time. Double the ripple – afford the receiver the opportunity to become a giver! That way they can keep one card for themselves and give one to someone else.
Remember, as you give more, the abundance in your life increases, and giving Gratitude Cards is multi-faceted exponential giving.
