The idea for Gratitude Cards came to Dawn as a tool to help clients who were stuck in their healing processes. Many were in denial about their anger, their expectations from others, and some were frustrated with “unfair” illnesses. Dawn, having been in practice for over 20 years, was familiar with the pattern. A lack of gratitude often creates unhappy, sick people, who are “stuck” in their healing process and are unable to feel truly grateful for the experiences and people in their lives. These people often feel unappreciated, experience life as a series of frustrations, yearn for happiness and fulfillment, and don’t know their purpose in life. Dawn’s area of expertise is subtle energy fields and bio-energetic medicine, which in layman’s terms refers to the vibrational frequency of matter, including the frequency of the human body, thoughts, and emotions at a sub-atomic level. Living in a state of gratitude causes every atom of your body to vibrate at a higher level, causing your mind and body to resonate at a healthier level. Higher-vibrational human energy fields have been linked to happiness, healing emotional and physical trauma, and the manifestation of goals. Most people understand gratitude from an intellectual perspective, just like we know what exercise is. Unfortunately, most of us don’t get to the gym regularly - likewise, for most their “emotional gratitude muscle” is weak. Many people do not make a habit of using it, despite the fact they may believe being grateful is important. Gratitude Cards were designed to be a tangible way of expressing gratitude – so that both the giver and receiver will know that they have bettered someone’s day. Additionally, each card is engraved with Dawn’s special trademarked symbols that carry a healing vibration, which has been enhanced by the frequency of a specifically formulated ink. And, on a more global level, proceeds from Gratitude Cards are re-invested to promote eco-human sustainability. Giving Gratitude Cards is a transformative experience on so many levels. By letting someone know that they are appreciated with a Gratitude Card, you are putting something similar to a coin of positive energy into circulation. It can be passed along or held onto as a keepsake, reminding people of the positive change they contributed. Ultimately, the gift of a Gratitude Card is not the card itself – it is the intention behind it. People have experienced powerful self-realizations through the exercise of giving Gratitude Cards – the act of giving a “Thank you!” in a tangible form is a unique experience.
